Wilsonart needed Sq1 to breathe new life into a brand that was perceived as somewhat bland and outdated. We learned that our audience (architects and designers) preferred to work with brands that reflect the same values they hold – creative expression, fashion-awareness, being in the know, etc. We decided to position the brand as the ultimate laminate brand for creative expression, and created the tagline “Make a Statement”.
